October 01, 2010-- RapidEye 5m orthoimagery now extends across New Zealand. Earlier this year, national coverage was placed in the archives ready for purchase. Most areas of New Zealand have significantly less than 5 or 10% cloud.

RapidEye is the only commercial geospatial solutions provider to own and operate a constellation of five identical Earth Observation satellites. AAM is the distributor in Oceania for satellite data products from RapidEye.
This imagery is being embraced in Australia by agencies predominantly interested in land cover, land use and agriculture! The ‘red edge’ band is proving a point of major interest.
