The European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories (EARSeL) is a non-profit association grouping nearly 300 laboratories and research centres in 40 countries specialising in the peaceful applications of remote sensing on land, sea and atmosphere. We function through Special Interest Groups which pool their resources in such areas as Forestry and Land Use, Geological applications, land ice and snow, coastal zones and water applications. We have reciprocal membership agreements with other societies such as the Remote Sensing Society (UK) and are the umbrella association for the grouping of European national remote sensing societies. We are an observer member of EUROGI. We promote co-operation between remote sensing experts and environmental managers and decision-makers, and between western and eastern European institutes.

| this is Aima Baig i work at best free ad posting in pakistan i read somewhere that EARSeL is the scientific network of the European Electronic Communications Company in the field of learning and commercial real estate / industry. EARSeL is unique because it represents the interests of organizations rather than individuals, although individual membership is possible. There are currently around 250 laboratories.
