What? PLM Road Map 2011

When? October 4 & 5, 2011

Where? The Inn at St. John's - Just 12 miles north of the Detroit airport

June 30, 2011 -- CPDA, a CIMdata company, is pleased to announce that Brett Hillhouse, an executive with IBM Rational Software, will make a keynote address at PLM Road Map™ 2011. He will join Comet Solution's Malcolm Panthaki, Pendaran's Dr. Hossein Nivi, Geometric America's Joseph Sahiouni, Siemens PLM Software's Steve Bashada, Georgia Tech's Dr. Chris Paredis, and HP's Christian Verstraete. PLM Road Map™ 2011 will take place at The Inn at St. John's, outside of Detroit, Michigan, on October 4th and 5th.

Automotive companies are challenged with developing safer, more comfortable, and environmentally friendly cars in less time and with fewer resources - while the complexity of today's vehicles steadily increases. In addition, the different engineering disciplines are largely disconnected: embedded software developers, PCB and ECU engineers, wiring/harness designers, mechanical designers, and quality assurance staff all work in their own silos and with dedicated tools and applications specific to their engineering discipline. Based on the trends and challenges facing automotive companies this presentation, Managing Complexity in Automotive Product Development, will consider a new approach to integrating engineering disciplines and the various models and artifacts they produce.
