Beijing, China, March 23, 2011-Mr. Yan Xiaohong, Deputy Director of General Administration of Press and Publication of the People's Republic of China (GAPP) and Assistant Commissioner of National Copyright Administration of the People's Republic of China (NCAC), paid a visit to and spoke highly of GstarCAD, a leading provider of 2D/3D CAD software and a model enterprise of IP application in China.

Companied with Huang Meiyu, Vice President of Suzhou Gstarsoft Co., Ltd and Oversea Business Director, Mr. Yan visited GstarCAD R&D center where an industries' elite group of software developing professionals work together, and where GstarCAD, the fast powerful and DWG-compatible CAD platform software was originally created and released.

Vice President Huang Meiyu introduced that GstarCAD has other R&D centers in the cities of Xi'an and Suzhou in China just like Beijing, which is focused on industrial application development. In the near future, GstarCAD is going to build an international technical center to provide better product and technical support and service for international partners and clients.

Mr. Yan showed great interest in GstarCAD's Intellectual Property (IP) application in international market. Mr. Yan said, "GstarCAD is the top-level CAD software in China. In the past 19 years, GstarCAD has persisted in upholding independent research and development and promoting software copyright protection. In November of 2010, Gstarsoft won 'Utilization Award' for active use and protection of IP by WIPO, which is worthy of great praise."
GstarCAD's strategic use of IP has brought strong business growth during the past 5 years and recently, GstarCAD was invited as the only enterprise from private sector to attend and made an important speech at the Regional Training of Trainers Program by WIPO. "In the year of 2011," Vice President Huang Meiyu said, "GstarCAD will certainly continue to insist on IP application and protection in CAD software innovative development and we have great confidence of contributing more to software IP protection and application."
