Dexter + Chaney Climbs Two Places In Washington CEO Magazine Ranking of Washington's High-Tech Companies

SEATTLE, September 24, 2008: Dexter + Chaney ( www.dexterchaney.com) has climbed two places in Washington CEO Magazine’s annual “Top 50” ranking of high-technology and bio-technology firms in the state of Washington, based on number of Washington-based employees. The company placed 36th in the 2008 ranking, announced in the magazine’s September issue, with 72 employees working at the company’s Seattle headquarters. Dexter + Chaney, developer of Spectrum(R) Construction Software, was 38th in the 2007 listing.

Washington CEO (circ. 36,000) is a regional business publication written for CEOs, directors, senior executives and others. The “Top 50” designation is the latest in a series of rankings by local and trade publications and organizations that Dexter + Chaney has made for its size or growth rate. The company recently opened a second office building on its 2.3-acre North Seattle campus to accommodate its growth.

“We continually enhance Spectrum with one key purpose in mind: to help our construction-company clients grow their businesses,” said John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney co-founder and president. “When our company is recognized for its growth rate or size, we naturally share the honor with our clients. Our success depends on the ability of our product and people to help our clients be successful.”
