Consolidated Signs International Lease for GTViewer

Locating Company Set for Expansion

June 14, 2005 - Madison, Alabama - Consolidated Utility Services, Inc., a rapidly expanding utility services organization, today signed a software lease agreement for GTViewer from Graphic Technologies, Inc.

Consolidated expects to grow its business in the United States and Canada. "We are a high growth organization. The secret to supporting this growth lies in streamlining our internal processes for efficiency" said VP and COO Brian Johnson. "Relying on paper maps and digital maps in multiple formats does not scale very well. Furthermore, the cost of training and multiple seat licenses associated with supporting multiple mapping products can overshadow the technical advantage of paperless tools. With one viewer for a variety of customers, we have positioned our infrastructure for sustained expansion."

Under terms of the lease agreement, Consolidated will be able to use GTViewer throughout its operations in the United States and Canada at a fixed annual cost for the next three years, even if it doubles in size. From Georgia to Alberta, hundreds of locators will be using GTViewer to find facilities and prevent damage.

Features of GTViewer include:

"Managers like the savings. And the people who hold the laptops like the software. It's approachable and intuitive. It makes their job easier," said Charlie Marlin, consultant for Graphic Technologies, Inc. "It just works, and it lets users find the data they need right away."

A closely related software product, Pocket GTViewer, runs on hand-held devices for situations where mobility is especially important. Another member of the GTViewer family, GTWeb, presents geospatial data over intranet or internet.
