Session to Showcase Use Cases in Connecting the Jobsite, Enhancing Visibility, Boosting Safety

NORWALK, Conn., May 23, 2018 –  Triax Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of technology for the  connected jobsite, today announced that its co-founder and CEO, Chad Hollingsworth, will present a session on connecting the construction site through Internet of Things (IoT)-based systems. This presentation will take place as part of the “Jobsite Connectivity & Construction Management” track at the AEC Next Technology Expo + Conference, which runs from June 5-7, 2018 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Los Angeles.

During the session, Connecting the Jobsite Through IoT-Based Systems, Hollingsworth will discuss how contractors are utilizing wearable and other sensor-based technologies to capture data, reduce waste and improve safety. Triax also will be demonstrating its flagship IoT-based Spot-r system during the exhibition, Tuesday, June 5 – Thursday, June 7 at booth # 657.

Spot-r brings unparalleled visibility and insights to the built environment. Through a scalable mesh network, wearable devices, equipment sensors and a cloud-based dashboard, Spot-r delivers real-time floor- and zone-based worker location; automatic safety event and alert notifications; automated worker time and attendance; and equipment location and utilization.

Additionally, Triax Technologies’ National Account Manager, Bob Dolan, will be giving a 30-minute Spot-r presentation, including a live dashboard demonstration, Wednesday, June 6 at 1:00 p.m. PDT in the Connected Jobsite Theater.

“There has never been a more exciting time to be involved in the construction industry, and 2018 is shaping up to be a watershed year for IoT adoption,” said Hollingsworth. “Emerging sensor technologies are automatically capturing data from workers, equipment, tools and the environment. I’m excited to share how Spot-r’s real-time data and notifications are being used to reduce waste, improve site safety and connect the construction industry.”
