September 28, 2015 -- Roboris Srl, developer of Eureka Virtual Machining, an innovative software application for simulating CNC machine tools and programming robots, and TDM Systems GmbH, leading manufacturer of software for managing tool data in the field of machining, jointly announce their new partnership under which the users of Eureka and TDM will benefit from a direct, easy to use interface between the two systems. The tools used in a machining process will be easily imported into Eureka for a complete and realistic simulation of the ISO code before it is sent to the actual machine tool for execution.
“Our customers are hungry for a solution to facilitate the flow of data — descriptive, usage and geometric information, and knowledge — from their technical departments to their shop floors,” says Eugen Bollinger, Vice President Sales of TDM.
The TDM Base Module is a complete package for managing all of a company's tool data: components, assemblies, supplier lists, machine tools, and workpiece materials. The TDM Base Module structures data by classes, groups, technologies and machining processes.
Upon completion of the Eureka – TDM Interface, Eureka customers will achieve an enhanced virtual machining experience through the assurance of having the actual cutting-tool data and the ability to make better choices when searching for new cutting tools and when deciding how to best run them on their CNC machines.
“We are always looking for new tools to increase our customers' productivity using our software,” says Mirko Sgarbi, co-founder and CEO of Roboris. “The integration with TDM will allow our users to save time while setting up their simulations, eliminating any potential source of errors in manipulating tooling data.”
About Roboris, S.R.L.
Founded in 2001, Roboris is the developer of Eureka Virtual Machining, an innovative application for simulating CNC machine tools and programming robots. Eureka Virtual Machining includes two products: Eureka GCode for simulating CNC machines and EurekaRobot for simulating and programming robots. Eureka GCode performs accurate and realistic G-Code simulation and accurately emulates the most popular CNC controls. EurekaRobot makes it possible to combine the flexibility of a 6-axis industrial robot with the reliable technology of a CNC machining center. All CAM systems are supported as well as the most popular robots on the market. For more information about Roboris, please visit
