Vero Software & Woodworking Network Raise Funds to Support Woodworking Education

Apr 6, 2015 -- Vero Software — creator of the Cabinet Vision and Alphacam CNC solutions for woodworking — and wood-industry magazine and Internet outlet Woodworking Network have joined forces to raise funds in support of woodworking education and scholarships.

Proceeds from the sales of a T-shirt designed by the fund-raising duo and featuring an “I Heart Woodworking” graphic will be donated to the Woodwork Career Alliance (WCA). The WCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to forging a strong future for the woodworking industry by offering professional resources and educational opportunities.

Those who attend the Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, hosted by Woodworking Network April 14-16 in Schaumberg, Ill., will be eligible to enter a drawing to win an iPad by wearing the “I Heart Woodworking” shirt to the Cabinet Vision booth, No. 124. Learn more about the Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo at woodworkingnetwork.com/cabinets-closets-conference-expo.

Those who purchase a shirt but will not attend the expo will be eligible to enter the iPad drawing by tweeting a photo of themselves wearing the shirt, along with the hashtag #iheartwoodworking.

Visit teespring.com/iheartwoodworking2015 to support woodworking education with the purchase of an “I Heart Woodworking” tee.

About the Woodwork Career Alliance
It’s difficult to find and keep skilled workers, and it’s difficult for woodworkers to demonstrate their skill sets during the interview process. As such, the industry needs a means for both recognizing skills and rewarding achievement. The Woodwork Career Alliance meets that need.

The Woodwork Passport Program leads to professional credentials for woodworkers and a pool of demonstrated talent for employers. Learn more about the Woodwork Career Alliance and the Woodwork Passport Program, by visiting woodworkcareer.org/.
