Carlsbad, CA, - April 29, 2013 – - TC Technology announces Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) signed an enterprise license agreement (ELA). The ELA includes both GO! Sync Mobile GIS for field mapping and MIMS for workflow automation.
PWP provides electricity to some 66,000 customers and delivers water to 37,000 households and businesses in Pasadena and adjacent communities in the San Gabriel Valley. With its ELA, the electric division of PWP benefits from a variety of mobile information management initiatives including vegetation management and underground service alerts. Using maps kept up-to-date with GIS, field personnel complete work using intuitive forms that record activity and automatically update corporate systems. Deploying the ELA replaces paper processes with spatially-enabled software.
With GO! Sync Mobile GIS and MIMS, organizations like PWP recognize the advantages of extending GIS into the field and automating work. Return on investment results from streamlining such tasks as planned and unplanned work, routine maintenance, and underground locating.
