Pinnacle College Games Director Eitan Teomi to be Panelist At Industry's Top Event for Game Developers

LOS ANGELES, March 25, 2013 — (PRNewswire) —  Eitan Teomi, Chief Academic Officer, Video Game Sound Design at Pinnacle College, has been selected to be a panelist at Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2013 at Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, March 25-29. GDC is the world's largest and longest-running professionals-only game industry event.

Teomi will join three other panelists from 5 to 6 p.m. March 27 at the Game Audio Education Roundtable, Room 121, North Hall.

Teomi is an award-winning sound designer with 15 years of experience in music production and audio recording. His professional credits include composing and sound design production for numerous media projects, including animation films, the video gaming industry and interactive multimedia. His sound libraries and virtual instruments under the "HandHeldSound" brand have been used in many blockbuster films and games, helping composers create compelling musical scores.

In addition to his involvement in the professional industry, Teomi is an advocate, educator and lecturer, with more than 10 years of experience teaching and designing programs for music and technology. He also conducts master classes and presentations at private expos and international trade shows. He holds a master's degree in music composition/new media from CalArts, where he studied under Morton Subotnick.

Teomi is Chief Academic Officer at Pinnacle College, directing the development of modern Music Production, Game Audio, and Digital Media Curricula, with an emphasis on strong academics, musicianship and complete industry relevance.
