ASCENT- Center for Technical Knowledge Releases Additional Round of Autodesk Official Training Guides for Autodesk 2013 Software

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 22, 2012Rand Worldwide (OTCBB: RWWI), a global leader in providing technology solutions to organizations with engineering design and information technology requirements, announced that its courseware division, ASCENT- Center for Technical Knowledge, released an additional 14 printed training guides and eBooks for Autodesk 2013 software, bringing the total of 2013 Autodesk Official Training Guides released-to-date to 37.

Since Autodesk’s 2013 software launch in March, ASCENT has continued to release Autodesk Official Training Guides (AOTG) on a weekly basis. ASCENT’s training guides provide users with hands-on, project-based curriculum for individual self-study use, certification exam preparation, and instructor-led classroom use. The following Autodesk Official Training Guides are the latest releases from ASCENT:

eBook format available for all ASCENT AOTG materials

In addition to its printed Autodesk Official Training Guides, ASCENT offers its AOTG courseware in an eBook format. eBooks provide users with a personal electronic color copy of the training guide and can be downloaded to any computer with a Windows or MAC operating system, accessed online through any Internet-connected computer or downloaded to smart phone or tablet devices. Keyword searches are available throughout the eBooks and pages can be bookmarked for later review.

Like its printed counterpart, eBooks are designed for individual, self-study use as well as for use in classroom settings. Western Washington University (WWU) is an example of one school that evolved from printed guides to eBooks for its Design Engineering Course. To learn more about how WWU integrated eBooks into its classes, read the Case Study on the ASCENT website.

“ASCENT eBooks continue to gain popularity since they were introduced last year, providing users with a convenient digital learning format,” noted Paul Burden, director of product development, ASCENT. “Containing the same content as the printed guide, users can feel confident that they are receiving the same high-quality AOTG material as the printed guide, while also reducing their carbon footprint.”

Until the end of September, ASCENT is offering a 10% discount off its Autodesk 2012 and 2013 AOTG eBooks. As with all eBook purchases, there are never any shipping costs as eBooks are downloaded upon purchase. Visit the ASCENT website for more details: www.ASCENTed.com.
