SimuTech Group Offers Innovative ANSYS Training Courses

Rochester, NY: March 15, 2012 – SimuTech Group (SimuTech), the largest full service ANSYS Channel Partner across the US and Canada, announces Skills Development and Gap Training initiatives. These innovative programs are specifically targeted at analysts using finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software tools from ANSYS, Inc., and who acknowledge the need to update and improve their professional skills.

The rate of change in FEA and CFD technology is becoming exponential. ANSYS® software updates and growing breadth of functionality are introduced to the marketplace on a consistent basis. For these reasons, users should take advantage of Gap Training and Skill Development to help them remain as technically up-to-date as possible.

The benefits of Skills Development and Gap Training:

• Save time and costs by investing in a professional development versus struggling with new analysis tools without experienced trainers.
• Heighten analysis skills faster by participating in classroom and one-on-one training settings.
• Discover new, innovative analysis processes and problem-solving methodologies.
• Improve your company’s ROI by investing in what is needed to apply the latest technological advancements already available with your existing annual software maintenance.
• Learn to do more with the software you already have.
• Improve the accuracy of your results and obtain more data from simulations.
• Find out how ANSYS advancements apply to your products.

Program differentiators
The primary difference between the two programs is that Gap Training takes place in a classroom setting. It is a three to five-day training program that addresses a custom collection of “off the shelf” training materials drawn from multiple commercial training courses. The sessions are targeted at participants’ specific analysis responsibilities as they apply to their work environment. The objective is to “fill” any technological gaps that exist in your typical ANSYS users’ capabilities.

Skills Development Training is a one-on-one mentoring program and applies what was learned in the classroom to the analyst’s daily workload. Trainers work with each participant individually to assess needs and technical expertise. Users interact one-on-one with trainers to solve their real world challenges with newly learned skills. Skills Development Training takes analysts to the next level by taking the skills learned in the classroom and showing them how to apply it practically. It often serves as a jump start for teams tackling new projects and looking to make use of new techniques.

Nick Rapolti, engineering analyst at SimuTech, says, “As product development cycle times continue to shrink, engineering departments must adapt to meet accelerated expectations. Our Skills Development and Gap Training programs are ideally suited to help any size company become more technically adept.”
