GRAPHICS SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES SOLIDWORKS 2012 PREMIERE & USER CONFERENCEOctober 25-26, 2011 | Grand Geneva Resort | Lake Geneva, WI

Milwaukee, WI – August 30, 2011

Graphics Systems Corp. announces the Graphics Systems User Conference & SolidWorks 2012 Premiere held October 25-26, 2011 at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI.   This two-day engineering technology event contains over 50 in-depth training sessions delivered by expert engineers and instructors.  Focusing on 3D engineering solutions from Dassault Systémes SolidWorks, this unique conference addresses the everyday issues manufacturing companies face including: product design, data management and process control, product testing and simulation, technical documentation, and employee management.

This year Graphics Systems plans to expand on the overwhelming success of their 2010 conference, which had over 300 attendees.   “The success of last year’s event showed us the importance of this information and technology to the success of our customers.  We believe this so strongly that we increased the value of the conference this year, adding 40% more sessions, an expanded management track, and more sessions lead by our customers,” stated Dave Kasinskas, President of Graphics Systems Corp.

In addition to the technical and management sessions at the conference, Graphics Systems is also teaming with SolidWorks to unveil the newest features in their SolidWorks 3D CAD software.  The “Premiere of SolidWorks 2012” will be presented by Graphics Systems’ Jeff Setzer, SolidWorks Product Manager, and SolidWorks team members Richard Doyle, User Community Manager, and Jeff Osman, Area Technical Manager.

Setzer states, “The support for this year's conference from SolidWorks and the engineering community is unprecedented.  This is the 20th release of SolidWorks I’ve had the privilege to introduce to our customers, and we’re excited to have Richard [Doyle] and Jeff [Osman] offer their insight into the new features in SolidWorks 2012.”

Currently Graphics Systems is running an early-bird special where attendees can purchase a two-day conference pass for only $159 (an $80 savings) if they purchase by August 31, 2011.
