He authored and delivers a Foundation degree in Metrology at Coventry University, UK  ( www.coventry.ac.uk) where he heads the Metrology Department within the Faculty of Engineering and Computing.

The Coordinate Metrology Society also announces a “ Call for Posters” for the academic community. This professional organization invites submissions of poster abstracts for a poster competition to be featured at the 2011 Coordinate Metrology Systems (CMSC) being held in Phoenix, AZ from July 25-29, 2011. The Posters Presentation Event gives participants the opportunity to share experiences and information with CMS members via “poster and short oral presentations” showcasing accomplishments in the field. The CMS encourages submissions which focus on metrology applications and experiments, best practices, and successful projects from both novice and seasoned participants. All presented posters will be considered for the Best Poster Award as voted upon by the CMS. For more information, or to submit a poster abstract, contact Trevor Toman at Email Contact. Guidelines for poster presentations can be downloaded at: http://www.cmsc.org/stuff/contentmgr/files/0/ab0d8e114e9efa826ebe775d0ca0999d/misc/posterpresentguidelines.pdf.
