November 11, 2010 -- Super Wang, CEO of SuperGeo Technologies, was invited to join in National Geographic Information System Promoting and Coordinating Deliberation Meeting (NGIS Meeting), to discuss the development and applications of Taiwan GIS Industry.
Organized by TGIC, NGIS Meeting gathers several reputed professors and related government sectors, such as Information Center of the Ministry of The Interior, Urban Planning Div. of Council for Economic Planning and Development, the Executive Yuan, etc.
TGIC is a significant staff sector under the Council for Economic Planning and Development, the Executive Yuan, to regulate and promote important geospatial policies as well as to allocate GIS expenditures in Taiwan. TGIC is also an important organization to bridge the connection between Taiwanese government and GIS companies.
The purpose of NGIS Meeting is to promote the developing results of national GIS and land information applications in Taiwan, aiming to integrate the spatial data in the whole country to achieve data sharing and efficient use for better decision and policy making.
