DevGeo Event Will Jumpstart Your Mapping App Development

Redlands, California — October 08, 2010 — Esri will host a free DevGeo event Thursday afternoon, November 4, 2010, in Santa Clara, California, at the Network Meeting Center. DevGeo Silicon Valley is for developers who want to add dynamic mapping capabilities to their Web and mobile applications.

Sessions are designed to help software developers who work with JavaScript, Flex, Silverlight, iOS, or Windows Phone. Topics include using dynamic tiled map services and working with API components.

Esri developers will demonstrate how to quickly start using their APIs to create interactive mapping applications for mobile and Web apps. They will walk participants through samples in the software development kits (SDKs). API libraries will be provided.

Because this event is free and space is limited, developers who are interested in attending should register early via the DevGeo Web page at esri.com/devgeo.
