3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis machining and simulation software libraries to the portfolio of
Embeddable Technologies provided by intrinSIM.
 
ModuleWorks  is a leading provider of CAD/CAM components, providing 3 - 5 Axis machining
and simulation technology as used by many of the leading CAM systems and specialist
manufacturing companies.


ModuleWorks provides a component for 3-Axis machining. The
3-Axis machining component uses mesh (or triangle)
to generate accurate gouge free tool-paths on 3D components.





mw_simulationModuleWorks offers a complete solution for companies
wishing to integrate 5-Axis machining with their CAM
software products including a powerful and flexible
range of tool-path generation strategies and
post-processing  tools.  Typical applications include 
aerospace wing components, automotive port machining,
impellers, turbine blades, cutting tools, and trimming/de-flashing.
Usually considered the domain of metal cutting, 5-Axis machining
is also used in wood, stone, and plastics.
 



ModuleWorks provides a complete component solution for Simulation with high performance
CNC Simulation and CNC Verification. The CAM Simulation component supports Milling,
Turning and Mill/Turn applications with full machine simulation, stock removal verification and
tool-path analysis. Simulation will identify problem areas such as potential collisions, gouges
or over travel and allow correction prior to NC Code generation. The Simulation component
can add significant productivity improvements and can be quickly implemented.
