We are pleased to announce launching of the new release of OrthoVista, V4.5.0

The new version comes along with a number of new features and changes for optimizing the productivity in color balancing and mosaicking projects.

The main highlights of the new features of OrthoVista 4.5.0 are as follows:

• More Flexibility

Images and Tiles can be loaded/unloaded as well as activated/deactivated at any time in OrthoVista and Seam Editor.

• Faster Project Handling

Reopening of projects has been speeded up. Especially the Seam Editor can open projects much faster now.

Region files generated in OrthoMaster for defining background pixel areas can now directly be used by OrthoVista which considerably reduces processing times.

• Better Project Overview

Seam Editor automatically marks modified tiles as edited. It is now possible to easily select or deselect tiles for further processing.

OrthoMaster and OrthoVista are now able to generate Information Files containing details of the project and processing parameters.

• New “Lite” version available

OrthoVista Lite at a favorable price is now available. OrthoVista Lite is restricted to projects of up to 250 orthophotos in a frame based project and 12 orthophotos in a pushbroom project, and does not support batch processing. Please ask our sales representatives for quotations.

APPENDIX

Delivery information

Starting July 26th, 2010 the new version will be available on our website www.inpho.de. Click on the download section for new software releases, operating manuals and release notes. A visitor registration is requested for the download. If you would like to receive the new version on DVD, please contact us.

Recommendations for operating system

Version 4.5 of OrthoVista runs on Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.

32-bit and 64-bit versions are available. The user can select which one to use.

We do not support 32-bit versions on Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

For performance reasons we recommend using Windows 7 64-bit, especially for processing large projects.

Please note that OrthoVista 4.5 will be the last version with 32-bit support.

Licensing information

New licensing files are required for the new version. Contrary to the previous version, a license for version 4.5 will enable our customers to work with both, the new version 4.5 or the previous version 4.4. This will make the transition from version 4.4 to version 4.5 much easier.

Customers who have a valid maintenance agreement already received new OrthoVista licenses free of charge, together with new licenses of ApplicationsMaster products.

For both, Aladdin Hardlock and WIBU Codemeter licensing systems, users received an e-mail with a link for downloading the licenses for the new version, and detailed instructions for the license updating procedure.

The 64-bit versions are licensed with the WIBU dongle system only. If you are still using the Aladdin Hardlock system, please contact us for a quote to replace your dongle hardware.
