The Schneider Corporation Announces Midwest GIS Conferences

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Jul 08, 2010 -- The Schneider Corporation ( www.schneidercorp.com), a provider of creative solutions for land, infrastructure and facilities projects that help increase revenue, lower costs and mitigate risk, announced its 2010 GIS Conferences will be held this year in Indianapolis (August 4, 2010) and Ames, Iowa (August 10-11, 2010). Attendees will hear real-world examples about how Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is used for finding missing revenue, for infrastructure management, for facilities and program management, for permitting management, and many other case studies on how GIS can be deployed to provide creative solutions to solve problems.

The conferences, themed "Cooking up Solutions: Recipes for Success," will include information on how organizations can use GIS to increase revenue, reduce expenses and minimize risk. The conference will help attendees understand why it is important that they start their GIS project off right, how they can take their current projects to a new level, and envision the future capabilities of GIS. Several hundred Midwest clients currently benefit from GIS solutions from The Schneider Corporation and will find great value in networking with each other at this event.

"This year's GIS conference will help attendees learn, discuss and experience GIS from a larger perspective," said Jeff Corns, vice president of GIS at The Schneider Corporation. "We'll be giving attendees ideas to maximize the results of their GIS implementations and continue to find ways to improve the overall service they provide to their constituents."

In addition to the conference, Schneider is offering an optional Post Conference program. GIS Workflows and Analysis is a two-day program immediately following each conference.
