The Splashing Around coloring activity is filled with fun pictures of Ellen in a number of different settings. These pictures can be painted using a variety of brightly colored pencils and easily saved to the device's photo album or erased with a simple shake. In the book portion, read along with Ellen's adventures as she films an under the sea video game and uses her imagination to grow fruit in a barren desert. The book is loaded with features including high definition images and official audio and sound effects. In addition to the coloring activity and interactive storybook, users can also stream video clips from the Ellen's Acres TV series directly through the app.
Pablo Quinteros, Animation Collective's Director of Interactive Technology and the application's creator, believes the app will be well received by the public. "This is our second iPad app since the release of the device only two months ago and we are definitely happy with the response thus far."
