3-GIS and GeoNav Announce Strategic Software Partnership: Form Alliance to Better Serve the Electric Utility and Telecommunications Sectors

Decatur, Alabama & Great Falls, Montana – May 26, 2010 – 3-GIS, an Alabama based product development and services company and GeoNav Group International, Inc., a GIS company that specializes in geospatial technology solutions for utilities and government have announced a strategic business alliance that will allow GeoNav to resell 3-GIS software solutions to multiple markets.

As an OEM of 3-GIS software, GeoNav, a leader in rural utility and telecom solutions that is owned in part by the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative, will incorporate the Express Solution into two products, nVIEW Electric which will cater to electric cooperatives and municipalities and nVIEW Telecom which will serve telecommunications companies of all sizes. Both nVIEW products are ArcGIS Server-based and include a web-based editing, querying, plotting and reporting tool; a light field-based conformal application; and a back office server component.
