Dassault Systemes Announces Global Reseller Agreement with Intercim

Extends V5 and V6 Portfolio with Manufacturing Execution and Manufacturing Intelligence for Highly Regulated Industries

VÉLIZY, France & ST. PAUL, Minn. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — April 6, 2010 — Dassault Systèmes (DS) (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, and Intercim LLC, a market leader in manufacturing and production operations management software solutions for advanced and highly regulated industries, today announced the signing of a global reseller agreement whereby DS will resell the complete Intercim product portfolio.

Through this global agreement DS now delivers comprehensive solutions for Manufacturing Execution and Manufacturing Intelligence along with the ability for companies utilizing the V5 DELMIA – ENOVIA Manufacturing Hub or the DS V6 environment to deliver manufacturing process plans and work instructions to the shop floor via the Intercim Pertinence MES system.

With this reseller agreement DS delivers to the market an integrated end-to-end solution that allows customers to:

  • Execute step by step instructions on the shop floor exactly as defined and planned by manufacturing engineers;
  • Increase worker comfort and productivity with intuitive interactive 3D work instructions;
  • Reconcile as-designed/as-planned/as-built data for seamless collaboration between all extended enterprise functions;
  • Integrate real-time production information and relevant as-built information directly to the 3D mock up; and
  • Manage non-conformances and unexpected events in real time with corrective and preventive manufacturing intelligence.
