CCE Proves Its Mettle!
Completes 20 years in the CAD Interoperability Business

Farmington Hills, Michigan – March 30, 2010 – CCE is proud to announce completion of over 20 years in the CAD interoperability business. CCE’s success comes at a time of great flux in the interop space, a testament to its proven technology that is highly valued in the CAD/CAM/CAE (CAx) domain, and its financial stability.

Right from its inception, CCE has specialized in creating CAD software development toolkits for CAD ISVs, and also for use in its own data translator & viewer products. CCE's flagship product is the Open Data eXchange (ODX) library for reading/writing native CAD data. Its latest innovation is Oceans SDK (OSDK), a middleware component technology that allows easy integration of 3D CAD data assets in enterprise applications such as PLM, ERP and MRP. Applications developed using ODX or OSDK are completely independent of any form of CAD software or licensing. ODX and OSDK are both CCE’s proprietary technology and not based on other third-party components. Currently CCE’s technology provides support for all major CAD formats including CATIA (V4 & V5), NX, SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, JT, Parasolid, IGES and STEP.

“Looking back to ‘89 when we started, we surely have come a long way. Over the past two decades, we have built some very successful relationships with the Microsoft’s and Google’s of the CAx world. The fact that some of the biggest names in the CAx industry in US and Europe have adopted our technology speaks volumes for its robustness and maturity. The fact that they continue working with us is proof of our top-notch service levels, and our ability to keep up with the constant changes and updates of the underlying CAD formats. We are very proud and mindful of this and will continue our investments in this area”, says CCE’s V.P. Sales & Marketing, Vinay Wagle.

CCE boasts of having 2 of the top 3 MCAD vendors in the world as technology licensees, in addition to some of the biggest names in Europe developing CAx systems. Besides, CCE uses its technology in its own data translator and viewer products, which are used daily by customers worldwide.
