GeoDecisions Announces Promotions

(March 25, 2010/Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an information technology (IT) company specializing in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce the promotions of two key staff members. Mike Wiley was promoted to director, and Keith Mullins, P.E., was promoted to director of intelligent transportation systems (ITS).

Wiley, based in the firm’s New York, N.Y., office, is responsible for business development, building and maintaining client relationships, and project management. Working with clients and technical delivery teams to understand critical business needs, Wiley provides geospatial and location-based services and solutions for government, public health, and emergency management agencies. He is also responsible for creating strategic partnerships to promote growth and improve business operations.

Prior to assuming his new role, Wiley served as a senior project manager, working on several projects in the New York metropolitan area. He has more than 18 years of experience in implementing and managing large IT projects that leverage geospatial technology. Wiley holds a bachelor of science in environmental design and a master of regional planning from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Based in the firm’s Philadelphia, Pa., office, Mullins is responsible for the direction of GeoDecisions’ ITS practice. He also coordinates ITS planning, design, and construction support services for domestic clients and manages all aspects of ITS project delivery.

Prior to assuming his new role, Mullins served as a senior project manager. Mullins has more than 10 years experience in the ITS field and is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Delaware and a master of science in Ocean Technology and Commerce from the Webb Institute in Glen Cove, N.Y. He is also the president of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America.
