Pictometry to Introduce Visual Information Solutions at Golf Industry Show in San Diego, Feb. 10-11

Rochester, NY, — February 11, 2010 — Pictometry Business Solutions will be exhibiting new, state-of-theart visual information solutions for golf at the Golf Industry Show February 10-11 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Pictometry’s stunning 3D-like high resolution aerial images reveal every square foot of a course from multiple angles. Every point of this imagery is geo-referenced to enable measurement capabilities directly on imagery. With just the click of a mouse, users can access images that will enable them to measure tree heights and widths, sand traps, tee boxes, greens and any feature on the course including the club house. The imagery is refreshed regularly and can be updated each year or after any major course construction. With the ability to view historical imagery, comparisons can be made from one year to the next.

Originally designed for land use and assessment professionals, Pictometry Intelligent Images™ enable users to reduce costly travel and work more effectively online or from a computer work station.

Pictometry imagery is used for marketing purposes and as a general maintenance and operations tool for golf courses across the country. The imagery has been used for crowd management and security at large events and tournaments including the Ryder Cup in Kentucky in 2008 and has also been featured in a popular hand-held GPS device for golfers.

“What makes Pictometry imagery so unique is the stunning detail it provides combined with measuring capabilities,” said Dante Pennacchia, Chief Marketing Officer for Pictometry. “Every day there is a job that can be done better, faster and with greater efficiency by simply using Pictometry to See, Measure and Plan.”
