HOUSTON — (BUSINESS WIRE) — December 4, 2009 — COADE, Inc. announced today that the COADE CAESAR II User Group held on November 19 in Houston drew 50 attendees from the area. During the event, David Diehl, COADE's VP Customer Experience and Richard Ay, VP Development, Plant Engineering Solutions outlined the changes in versions 5.10 and 5.20 in the COADE CAESAR II pipe stress analysis program, including productivity improvements, new pipe stress engineering codes, enhancements in buried pipe analysis and the new Loop Wizard. Both Diehl and Ay also fielded questions from attendees on how to get the best results using CAESAR II in real world applications.
Organized by Dharam Arya, PE of Mustang Engineering, Houston, Texas, the user group’s mission is to encourage end-user cooperation in the development of best practices in pipe stress analysis among COADE CAESAR II users. A steering committee is being formed to lay out a direction for the group including future meetings and other means of communications and sharing of best practices.
