GeoCue Introduces New Mobile Mapping Software

October 08, 2009 -- Huntsville, AL - GeoCue Corporation announces the introduction of the new LYNX™ MMS CuePac with its latest version 6.1 software release. The LYNX MMS (Mobile Mapping System) CuePac is a server-licensed collection of tools to enable support for the Optech LYNX Mobile Mapping System by providing a platform to ensure that projects are managed, executed, and delivered on time. Managing large MMS projects is a daunting task without tools to manage and visualize the LIDAR and camera data. Features of this CuePac include:

  • LYNX Multi-laser scanner data import
  • Precise SBET Display
  • TerraScan trajectory generation for LYNX
  • Camera Station Import Support
  • Camera calibration record management
  • Display image in RasterVue when camera station is selected
  • Project-wide data scaling to support millimeter resolution

Hosted within the GeoCue Departmental Server, the LYNX MMS CuePac augments the LIDAR 1 CuePac to provide complete LYNX data management, visualization and Terrasolid integration in an efficient multi-user workflow. Managing Mobile Mapping projects is considerably more challenging than traditional aerial LIDAR projects but GeoCue’s processing environment organizes huge corridor MMS projects into multiuser, graphical representations with checklist activated processing making MMS a routine and organized operation.
