New Visual Technology for Building Interiors Combines Pictometry’s National Image Library of Intelligent Images® with Interior Visual Technology
Rochester, NY—October 05, 2009 — Pictometry International Corp., the leading provider of aerial oblique imagery for police, fire and 9-1-1, is featuring a new visual technology designed for building interiors called Pictometry Critical 360™. This new technology and others will be exhibited this week at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver as part of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference.
This new technology combines Pictometry’s patented aerial oblique imagery with an innovative image capture system designed to produce 360 degree views of building interiors in an intuitive system that makes finding information about the interiors and exteriors of buildings fast and easy.
Utilized by municipalities, schools, and universities across the country, Pictometry Critical 360 shows high resolution oblique imagery of building exteriors and surrounding areas and enables users to overlay critical building information.
“Critical 360 provides a powerful resource for emergency response, planning and even day-today operations. This is a vital tool for keeping critical infrastructure within our communities safe and secure,” said Dante Pennacchia, Chief Marketing Officer at Pictometry.
Pictometry will be demonstrating Critical 360 and other technologies at its IACP booth no. 256 through October 7. For more about Critical 360, visit Pictometry at
