The first task order of this multi-year contract includes the preparation of a strategic plan to identify and document geospatial business goals and objectives, as well as additional requirements and needs throughout the agency.
The needs identified will be captured in an integrated project plan for actions and applications. It is expected to address the areas of linear referencing systems and transportation data models, roadway inventory management systems, data visualization and analysis systems, and Highway Performance Management Systems (HPMS).
Also, GeoDecisions will support the integration of GDOT’s geospatial data resources through development and enhancement of data warehouses and management systems, geospatial Web portals, and tools, such as videologs viewers, straight-line diagrams, asset management systems, and HPMS processing systems.
