SPADAC Launches Enhanced Version of Predictive Analytics Tool

Signature Analyst 3.2 supports mission-critical spatial information needs and improves usability and efficiency

August 18, 2009 -- MCLEAN, Va. -- SPADAC, a leading provider of spatially enhanced technology solutions, has launched Signature Analyst® 3.2, the latest version of its advanced geospatial predictive analytics tool. Feature enhancements include improved performance through multi-threading indexing, which reduces processing times and increases efficiency, and improved factor management and organization, along with more advanced modeling capabilities.

“We have continued to enhance our products to cater to the evolving forecasting needs of our clients,” said Mark Dumas, founder and CEO of SPADAC. “The key features of Signature Analyst 3.2 greatly expand users’ ability to quickly and efficiently organize, integrate and assess geospatial information.”

The newest version of Signature Analyst provides further insight into actionable intelligence needed to make confident decisions about future events by minimizing risk, maximizing opportunity and ensuring enterprise resiliency. The feature enhancements include KML Support to create factors, events and areas of interest (AOI) from KML links, along with an option to export assessments to KML. Signature Analyst 3.2 also allows users to compute the nearest neighbor distances (NND) from raster data.

Signature Analyst 3.2 offers multi-threaded indexing, which significantly improves speed when using multiple processors to generate an assessment. The 3.2 version also includes a new analysis tool to compare assessments, giving analysts the capability to compare outputs from different models and assessments generated from different inputs.

Additional capabilities include dendrogram usability enhancements that allow users to visualize event clusters, a new mechanism to organize factors into groups that can be shared across projects in a workspace, and an added option to the ArcMap extension that allows users to export factors and associated attributes into an Excel spreadsheet. A new graphic interface allows users to better visualize and filter events and generate a density plot from selected events.

“We have evolved our product offerings to provide mission-critical support for our clients,” said Peter Borissow, SPADAC product manager. “By providing warfighters and security teams with the most technologically advanced spatial information and assessments, new areas of opportunities or risk can be identified and hidden relationships can be uncovered.”
