High Performance Interface (HPI) from TSG Receives Designed for EMC Documentum Accreditation

CHICAGO — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 3, 2009 Technology Services Group, Inc. (TSG), a leading provider of content management integration services and open source solutions, today announced that its High Performance Interface (HPI) offering has received the “Designed for EMC® Documentum®” accreditation, a mark of quality and value that customers can depend on in enterprise applications. The “Designed for EMC Documentum” accreditation demonstrates that HPI has successfully met a comprehensive set of criteria for solid design and quality integration.

HPI extends the EMC (NASDAQ: EMC) Documentum enterprise content management platform to provide a free, open-source, solution to simplify access to Documentum. HPI is a configurable application that can be used as an extension to EMC Documentum Webtop 5.3 or 6.x for common Documentum functions. Based off of best practices and years of experience at clients, TSG built HPI to satisfy the needs of clients that were looking for high performance and a simplified interface for multiple departments with unique requirements. Initial implementations have included Insurance, Life Sciences, Engineering, Manufacturing and other industries. HPI was built to leverage web services, which isolates HPI from a specific Documentum version, allowing for painless upgrades.

“EMC’s position as the leader in enterprise content management is strengthened by the support of great partners such as TSG,” said Randy Ziegler, Director of Developer Programs at EMC Corporation. “Partners like TSG build solutions and applications on the Documentum platform because customers have demonstrated their trust in Documentum to manage their most critical and strategic information. The accreditation program is another way EMC earns that trust while supporting innovative offerings like HPI.”

“HPI is TSG’s third EMC-certified product. We have been excited about how the designed for EMC Documentum program connects Documentum customers with off-the-shelf software providers to limit customizations and reduce project costs. We look forward to helping more Documentum customers expand their Documentum deployments by using HPI as a simplified interface to Documentum,” said David Giordano, President of Technology Services Group.

TSG’s HPI application received design accreditation through participation in the Designed for EMC process, designed to help ISVs, VSPs and SIs design, develop and go-to-market with successful offerings based on the Documentum platform. As an EMC Velocity Tech & ISV partner participating in the DFE accreditation process, TSG received specialized design consultation and guidance, along with access to dedicated enterprise content management technical resources. Partners can submit their offerings to be considered for the “Designed for EMC Documentum” accreditation – which if achieved, signifies to customers that the offering meets high standards for architectural compliance with Documentum practices and will provide a reliable integration with less uncertainty for joint customers.
