CartêGraph Partners with ESRI and Trimble for a Hands-On Mobile Technology Experience

July 28, 2009 -- Dubuque, IA- CartêGraph is pleased to announce its launch of the interactive Mobile Lab, a free, hands-on seminar series that demonstrates to attendees the power of CartêGraph’s mobile solution.

“CartêGraph is one of the first organizations to offer an interactive educational experience of this type,” says CartêGraph President and CEO, Scott Taylor. “By bringing CartêGraph, Trimble and ESRI together we are not only able to discuss the capability, simplicity and affordability of today’s mobile solutions, but we also provide attendees with the opportunity to use and experience the technology firsthand.”

From late July to early September, CartêGraph representatives will be taking their interactive Mobile Lab across the country.  Mobile Lab sessions will combine detailed, informational presentations with the hands-on opportunity to explore the full functionality of the CartêGraphmobile solution as augmented by Trimble mobile hardware and ESRI GIS/map software.

“What this mobile lab demonstrates is how industry-leading technology products can be combined to make core business processes for government more efficient and productive,” states Taylor. “And with that, comes an absolute return on investment.”

The CartêGraphmobile solution is an easy-to-use, field-ready application that is built on the Windows Mobile® platform. CartêGraphmobile is tightly integrated with existing CartêGraph desktop applications, providing complementary functionality that is fully accessible on a handheld, mobile, wireless device. More portable than its office counterpart, CartêGraphmobile makes information available at all times, allowing field personnel to locate, add, map and track assets; capture inventory; conduct inspections; record maintenance events and create work orders—all in the field.

“Mobile technology is proven and available,” says CartêGraph Vice President of Products, Dennis Welu. “It’s a vital component in an organization’s efforts to gain efficiencies in their daily work flow.”

The CartêGraph interactive Mobile Lab will kick-off in Orlando, Florida on July 21st.  In the weeks and months following, the Lab will make appearances in several metropolitan areas—including Dallas, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Olympia, Fullerton, Austin, Waynesboro, Salem, Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Chicago.
