The concert was broadcast live to multiple digital theatres in high definition 3D along with high quality and crisp images. Fans were amazed with the level of quality and comfort of 3D viewing and enjoyed a real immersive 3D experience. The event was broadcast by OpenSky, who purchased and installed International Datacasting Corporation's ("IDC") Pro Cinema 3D live Decoders equipped with leading SENSIO® 3D technology. This equipment is an add-on to the existing digital cinema broadcast network previously provided to them by IDC.
As part of their digital cinema service offering, OpenSky has formed the 3D Stereoscopic group (3DSG), a partnership with dBW Communication and Eutelsat for the end-to-end production and distribution of 3D live events across Europe.
