(July 22, 2009/Harrisburg, Pa.) Jason Carter was recently appointed a senior client manager with GeoDecisions, an information technology (IT) company specializing in geospatial solutions.
Based in St. Louis, Mo., Carter is responsible for supporting business development efforts and managing clients in the military, state and local government, and homeland security industries. He focuses on securing, managing, and developing new projects, as well as integrating IT solutions with existing services. With more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. Navy, Carter creates strategic partnerships to promote growth and improve business operations.
Prior to joining GeoDecisions, he served as chief of distribution portfolio management requirements with the U.S. Transportation Command and developed IT solutions to improve Department of Defense deployment and distribution capabilities.
Carter holds a bachelor of science in metallurgical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, a master of science in information technology management from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a master of military operational art and science from Air University. He is a member of the National Defense Transportation Association.
