In addition to continuing to provide easy visualization of relationships between data and geography, this newest release boasts several new enhancements to help GIS users and non-GIS users alike ultimately make better decisions based on new insights.

New features of version 10.0 include a new, speedier user interface, support for the latest industry standards and databases including PostGIS and Microsoft® SQL Server 2008, and the ability to export maps to layered PDF, whose layers can be turned on or off. The redesigned layer control is not only more accessible in currently open maps, it can also save time by simultaneously editing layers in multiple workspaces.
