DLT Solutions Signs Partner Agreement with Google(TM)

HERNDON, Va. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 17, 2009 DLT Solutions, Inc., a value-added reseller of information technology products and services to government, has partnered with Google, whose mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful, to deliver information sharing solutions to the public sector.

“Google is well known in the commercial sector for bringing innovative concepts to market that meet the needs of both global enterprises as well as individual end users,” said Rick Marcotte, president and CEO of DLT Solutions. “DLT looks forward to working with the Google team to demonstrate the value and scalability of Google's search and geospatial solutions to our federal, state, and local government customers.”

The agreement currently includes the Google Search Appliance and Google Earth Enterprise solutions which will be made available on DLT's GSA Schedule, DLT GS-35F-4543G.

Google Earth Enterprise mapping solutions make geospatial information system (GIS) data easily accessible to government officials from senior leaders to workers in the field, allowing them to make more informed decisions. Public sector uses include emergency response, natural resources management, transportation planning and more.

The Google Search Appliance currently powers website search for many federal agencies, making it easy for citizens to access the information they need. The same technology can give government employees fast, relevant results when searching internal agency information. Google Search Appliances are deployed rapidly, providing fast, relevant access to the information with the same ease of use as Google.com.

Mike Bradshaw, Director of Federal Sales at Google, adds, “Google's enterprise products combine the familiar user interface, speed, and scalability of Google's consumer products with the additional security features government customers require. Partnering with DLT helps us bring Google's innovative enterprise solutions to a broader range of public sector agencies.”

DLT recently launched a new Geospatial Data Systems division, focusing on ease of use of geospatial data by public sector employees. Google Earth Enterprise and solutions are featured along with GeoEye, providing satellite and aerial imagery, TeleAtlas, delivering digital maps and dynamic content, and Autodesk Geospatial, innovative model-based design mapping and management tools that are redefining the integration of design and spatial data.
