Pictometry Expands its Board of Directors Commensurate With Growth in its Government and Commercial Segments

Company appoints former Homeland Security Chief of Staff and Gaming CEO

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Pictometry International Corp. announces the appointments of Major General (Ret.) Bruce M. Lawlor and Ian Aaron, President and CEO of Twistbox Entertainment, Inc., to the Pictometry Board of Directors.

Major General (Retired) Bruce M. Lawlor joins the Pictometry Board of Directors as the former Chief of Staff of the Department of Homeland Security. Lawlor currently directs the Center for Technology, Security and Policy at Virginia Tech. He served as the Senior Director for Protection and Prevention for the White House Homeland Security Council and was one of the five senior White House staff members who wrote the plan to create the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Lawlor was also a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council and the first Commanding General for the Department of Defense Joint Task Force - Civil Support. He has a doctorate degree in engineering management, a juris doctor degree in law, and a master's degree in national security studies. Additionally, he is a Harvard National Security Fellow, a former instructor at the U.S. Army War College, and is a member of the Vermont, Massachusetts and Florida Bar Associations.

Aaron was formerly President of TV Guide Television Group of Gemstar - TV Guide International, a publically-traded company engaged in the development, licensing, marketing, and distribution of products, services and CATV channels for TV guidance and home entertainment needs of TV viewers worldwide. He has held several leadership positions throughout his career including President and CEO at TVN Entertainment, Inc., a leading privately-held Video-On-Demand aggregation, management, and distribution, and service company working with the major Motion Picture Studios, Cable TV Networks and CATV operators in the United States, and the publically-traded SoftNet Systems, Inc., a broadband internet service provider. Aaron has served on the boards of several international media and technology-based companies.
