Tanner EDA Announces That Greg Lebsack Has Joined as President

MONROVIA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 13, 2009 -- Tanner EDA, the world leader in PC-based analog and mixed-signal (A/MS) and MEMS circuit design tools, announced today that Greg Lebsack has joined the company as president. Previously, Greg was the CEO of ASP Global Services (Chatsworth, CA), a leading provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) supply chain software. John Tanner, Tanner EDA founder, will continue in his role as CEO.

"To support our plans for continued growth and to build on our 20 years of success, we are adding to our executive team," said John Tanner, CEO, Tanner EDA. "Greg has the management and business experience and acumen to put new initiatives and plans in place that will support our existing customers and attract new ones."

"Tanner EDA is in the right place to continue its growth," added Greg Lebsack, President, Tanner EDA. "More than ever, EDA customers are looking for tools and flows that increase productivity and reduce time-to-market. Design teams looking to reduce costs can easily start new projects using our software rather than sign-up for more expensive licenses. I look forward to implementing programs that will meet our customers' business objectives and allow us to grow our markets in application areas where we play a key role."

Since its inception, Tanner EDA has had an average annual growth rate of 20%, and has been profitable for 8 of the last 9 years. To date, Tanner EDA has shipped 25,000 licenses of its PC-based electronic design software to 4,000 customers in 67 countries.

Greg has extensive executive management experience in the information technology (IT), telecommunications, and internet industries. Prior to joining ASP Global Services, Greg worked for Sprint where he held several management positions. He is also a board member of the Technology Council of Southern California.
