EVE Names EVE University Connections Program Manager

SAN JOSE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—April 8, 2009— EVE ( www.eve-team.com), the leader in hardware/software co-verification, today appointed Sandra Larrabee manager of the EVE University Connection Program, created to supply universities with first-rate technology to bridge the integration of hardware and software for system-on-chip (SoC) design.

Larrabee reports to Lauro Rizzatti, general manager of EVE-USA, and will be responsible for driving EVE’s presence at universities worldwide.

“Sandra has a long list of impressive accomplishments that makes her perfectly suited to run EVE’s university program and help us to play a key role in training the next-generation engineer,” remarks Rizzatti. “Her strong people skills and abilities to build a cohesive team are impressive and the reason why she’s known throughout academia as ‘The Ambassador.’”

Larrabee has more than 20 years of experience implementing and managing partner programs, including a worldwide university program for Synplicity Inc. (now Synopsys Inc.) that grew from two to more than 450 domestic and international universities. She worked for 10 years at Synplicity in a variety of marketing and distribution roles, in addition to managing the university program. At Marshall Industries and Western Micro Technology, she worked as corporate product manager. Earlier in her career, Larrabee was a product manager at Wyle Laboratories Electronics Marketing Group. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn.
