Cal Trans District 11 has implemented Spatial Wave Inc.’s MapLibrary.NET for their web-based file repository and GIS document management system.

Aliso Viejo, Calif. – February 17, 2009: Spatial Wave Inc, announced today that MapLibrary.NET software product has been successfully implemented at Cal Trans District 11. Spatial Wave’s MapLibrary.NET allows an organization, like District 11, to store and track thematic maps they have generated using GIS software such as ArcMap from ESRI. It also allows for simple storing and retrieval of geographically referenced documents such as As-built drawings or non geo-referenced documents of all file types. "MapLibrary.NET provides an efficient, user friendly tool that improves our ability to deliver geospatial data, information and map products to the Department's internal and external customers" stated Pat Landrum, GIS Manager of Cal Trans District 11. Ali Diba, President of Spatial Wave, remarked, "MapLibrary is a proven product that provides a simple and efficient GIS enabled engineering drawing and map management system to our utility and transportation customers. MapLibrary requires a fraction of time and resources to configure compared to more expensive document management systems."

MapLibrary.NET has been designed to meet the present and future document management needs of the organization. MapLibrary.NET will enable District staff to have finger-tip access of their document and maps from user’s desktop using a variety of attribute queries such as the X, Y coordinates, and user defined keywords or categories. District 11 will be using Spatial Wave’s MapLibrary.NET technology as a component of their Enterprise systems.
