Convert Google™ SketchUp Models to Real Time Interactive Scenes in less than 10 Minutes – No Programming Skills Required

Ramona, CA – January 27, 2009

Esperient Corporation, a pioneering developer of 3D authoring tools for visual computing and next generation web applications, has continued to progress its aim of simplifying the creative application development process by adding the ability to import Google™ SketchUp models directly into Esperient Creator. This allows both hobbyists and professional application developers to use Esperient Creator’s straightforward User Interface to convert their static 3D SketchUp models into animated, interactive real time scenes.

Using simple drag and drop procedures, that require absolutely NO PROGRAMMING SKILLS, it is possible for anyone to add animations, materials, shaders, real time shadow mapping, post-processing effects and a host of other features in just a few minutes. A video showing just how simple this process can be is available for download from:

Ben Vaughan, CEO of Esperient Corporation, said:

“Through its SketchUp program, Google™ has massively increased the size of the 3D software industry by introducing hundreds of thousands of amateurs and professionals to the art of 3D modelling. Esperient’s strategy is to try to achieve the same growth within the real time 3D industry by offering feature-rich products that deliver compelling results while being simple to use. Adding closer integration with SketchUp and allowing SketchUp modelers to add a host of new features to their existing assets is another step towards implementing our long term aims.

“The demonstration video shows that complex features, such as real time shadows, animations and shaders do not have to be the province of programmers. By simplifying the development process and reducing the time required to create meaningful applications, Esperient is removing the barriers to real time 3D technology adoption.”

About Esperient Corporation

Esperient was founded in October 2007 to create a new platform for visual computing and next generation web applications. In April 2008, the Company signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with Right Hemisphere Inc (RHI) to acquire the Deep Creator Software technology.
