ERDAS Announces a Free Webinar — Catalog and Deliver all of Your Enterprise’s Geospatial Data over the Web

Norcross, GA–November 26, 2008 -- ERDAS announces Catalog and Deliver all of Your Enterprise’s Geospatial Data over the Web, a free webinar highlighting ERDAS APOLLO Server. This webinar will be held on December 4 at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. EST.
Governments, businesses and other organizations often encounter challenges when working with large amounts of geospatial data. This webinar illustrates how to manage large volumes of vector, raster, terrain and map data, and efficiently and securely share this data internally and externally.

An alternative to existing market solutions, ERDAS APOLLO eliminates the walls between GIS, remote sensing and photogrammetry. ERDAS APOLLO Server is an enterprise platform that is the core module of any ERDAS APOLLO solution, and self-sufficient in meeting most common use cases. Supporting numerous data formats, ERDAS APOLLO Server implements a vector workflow for styling, visualizing, exporting, editing and filtering vector data, as well as a raster workflow (dramatically enhanced with ERDAS APOLLO Image Manager), for styling, visualizing and serving imagery. With ERDAS APOLLO Server’s web client, data is immediately available following any search.

Each month, ERDAS is offering at least two different webinar topics. To meet the needs of ERDAS’ global audience, most webinars will be hosted twice on a scheduled day. In addition to a live presentation and demonstration, each webinar also includes the opportunity for customers to interact directly with the presenter. Scheduled to last forty-five minutes, each webinar will include approximately thirty minutes of presented material and fifteen minutes for Q&A.

Following Catalog and Deliver all of Your Enterprise’s Geospatial Data over the Web, the next ERDAS webinar will be on December 9, highlighting 3D City Construction Workflows: From Collection to Presentation.
