The number of external components is greatly reduced by integrating the power amplifiers as well as the RX/TX switch. Combined with the Wi-Fi® certified WiLD MAC and Modem, it provides a complete wireless LAN solution for integration into a SoC. The WiLD90 RF is designed with an upgrade path to an 802.11n radio in mind. For example, it already offers an improved receive and transmit performance that is aligned with the specification of the IEEE802.11n standard.
