In Celebration of GIS Day - GTG Offers Free GIS Manager’s Workshop in Forsyth County, Georgia on Nov. 20

November 12, 2008 -- Goldsboro, N.C. – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) will be holding a free GIS Manager’s Workshop in Forsyth County, Georgia, on November 20. The workshop will be held at the Forsyth County Public Safety Complex. The workshop fee of $299 has been waived in celebration of GIS Day.

“This is an excellent course for those new coming into GIS as well as seasoned managers,” said Karen Robbins of the Village of Downers Grove, Illinois, who recently attended the workshop. “Everyone will walk away with ideas on how to improve their situation and fight for GIS in their organizations.”

The GIS Manager’s Workshop has been offered nationwide throughout 2008, and will continue to be held at various conferences in the upcoming year. Attendees have stated that this was one of the most valuable classes they have taken in years.
