Power users from local manufacturing companies, in tandem with KETIV’s application engineers, taught practical and proven methods for applying Autodesk software. The combination proved to be compelling and class content was relevant to the needs of the attendees.
AMA offered a variety of 12 classes, including Inventor topics such as Advanced Sheet Metal, Large Assembly Management, and Content Center Library Management, as well as topics related to AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD P&ID, Vault and Productstream.
The all-day training event boosted attendees’ skills and initiative to try new tools. “KETIV’s technical expertise and knowledge gave me the confidence that I needed to implement new applications on the job,” said Dan Estabrook, Design Engineer for Delta Microwave.
Attendees also had the opportunity to view product demonstrations of Autodesk Showcase, InventorCAM, and learn more about KETIV Technical Services.
One of the highlights was the closing discussion between participants and instructors on the need for continued investment in learning, particularly during a challenging economy.
“The overwhelming enthusiasm and feedback from the first Autodesk Manufacturing Academy demonstrates the value the local manufacturing community places on continued learning. Our customers design and manufacture smart products, and we are honored that they rely on our expertise to continue to innovate better,” said Kanwar Anand, President and CEO of KETIV Technologies.
The event was held at the Cerritos Sheraton Hotel, California, on September 25.
