Delivers easy integration of location-based features for mobile applications
According to a recent forecast released by market analysis firm ABI Research, mobile LBS will generate annual global revenues of $13.3 billion by 2013, up from $515 million in 2007. This large growth is attributed to the proliferation of GPS-enabled handsets and demand for location capabilities across an ever-widening range of applications. In addition, deCarta Mobile is compatible with JSR 179-based GPS implementations as well as WiFi and cell tower-based location technologies.
