LTU Technologies Previews Photo Management Tool with Intel Core i7 Processor

PARIS & WASHINGTON—(BUSINESS WIRE)—September 2, 2008— LTU Technologies, the global leader in multimedia content control solutions, announced today it successfully demonstrated a consumer application for photo management running on Intels next-generation processor family called Intel Core i7, expected to be launched in the Fall of this year.

In front of an audience at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco last week, LTU exemplified how powerful image search and image management tools, traditionally used by LTUs enterprise and government clients, can be used at the consumer level. The solution enables people with hundreds or even thousands of images to easily search, organize and manage their photos unlike any other products available on the market today.

Weve seen over the years that the content management challenges of public sector entities and large commercial enterprises trying to handle large amounts of visual assets, are similar to the issues consumers face as they store more and more digital videos and photos, said Alexandre Winter, CEO and co-founder of LTU Technologies. Working with Intel and seeing our demonstration received with great success, reinforces our commitment to developing management tools for individuals that will make storing, searching and sharing photos easy.

Highly scalable, built upon a flexible architecture, and using a unique and powerful core set of pixel analysis algorithms, LTUs solutions are capable of automating and optimizing the control of digital images and videos, regardless of their format, resolution, origin or environment. LTUs product lineup includes moderation software, investigative platforms, as well as forensics and e-discovery tools.
