The Cadac Group, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner developing Organice, a SharePoint based engineering document management solution, has scheduled a series of webcasts around the central theme: "bridging the GAP for the AEC". As a solution provider for the AEC and other project driven engineering industries, the Cadac Group is often confronted with companies struggling to create the right conditions for managing their project document and for collaborating with their project partners. With a series of webcasts, the Cadac Group will address typical needs and challenges in the AEC and provide practical tips and tricks to improve the business process of project driven organizations.

From August to December 2008, the Cadac Group will host a series of 8 webcasts. AEC and other project driven engineering companies are invited to join the bi-weekly webcasts.

The first webcast on August 28 is titled: “Document control and SharePoint for an engineering environment. During this 45 minute session the Cadac Group will show you a proven solution to control your engineering document packages in a complex environment. You will see how to manage multiple document packages, redistribute packages and files, and how to control the information related to document transmittals.

The webcasts are hosted by Edwin Elmendorp, President of Cadac Group Inc. and distributor of Organice in the Americas. Each webcast has a morning session (9am EST) and a late afternoon session (6pm (EST). Customers from Europe are invited to join the morning session and customers from Asia and the Pacific are invited to join the late afternoon session.
