Corel(R) Digital Media Player Receives DLNA 1.5 Certification

OTTAWA—(BUSINESS WIRE)—July 8, 2008— Corel Corporation (NASDAQ:CREL) (TSX:CRE), a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software, today announced that Corel® Digital Media Player has received Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) 1.5 Certification.

The Corel Digital Media Player enables digital home connectivity between DLNA Certified PDAs, mobile phones and CEs. Users can now easily browse and play back video, music and photos across multiple networked devices throughout their homes.

By receiving DLNA 1.5 Certification, Corel Digital Media Player has passed the stringent DLNA Networked Device Interoperability Guidelines set by the Digital Living Network Alliance ensuring interoperability among various DLNA Certified CE, PC and mobile devices in an UPnP home network.
